How it works
- Send an enquiry with your child's year group, exam board and what they need help with.
- I reply by email within a day or two and we arrange a free 15-minute consultation call.
- We book your first lesson, which is free, so you can see how we work together.
- If you are happy, we agree a regular lesson time and length, in person or online.
- After every lesson, the student receives a PDF of our whiteboard, and parents receive a short written update and an invoice by email.
About me
I have almost a decade of tuition experience, working mainly with university students alongside A level, IGCSE, GCSE and pre-GCSE students. Over that time I have helped students of all abilities strengthen their understanding and improve their grades, whether they are working to secure a pass or aiming for the top marks.
Outside tutoring, I have worked in technology environments where physics thinking and models are applied to real-world problems. A large part of that work has been explaining complex technical ideas clearly to people without a technical background, which is exactly the skill that good tutoring depends on: taking something difficult and making it make sense.
My approach is simple: understand the idea first, then practise until it sticks. Many students find physics hard because the maths and the concepts arrive at the same time. I separate the two, build confidence in each, and then bring them together in exam-style questions.
